Coastal Foraging Workshop


This experience will introduce you to some of our local edible seaweeds and wild plants. Explore rock pools at low tide, and learn how to sustainably harvest and prepare seaweeds and indigenous plants.

  • Organic garden - sample some wild indigenous plants and learn about medicinal herbs.

Private workshops: 

R 850 - Private rock pooling and coastal foraging private experience and a wild food picnic.

R 1, 250 - Private beach foraging experience with a 4-course wild food inspired meal served in our cosy clay home with paired Germanier organic wines and craft beer from our brewery.

    Wild Greens Foraging Workshop

    We hope to not only educate but also inspire with our foraging workshops, and hope that by providing people with the know-how, will see seaweed being used more for its nutritious goodness!

    Our workshops include a 4-course meal, in which seaweed is used as the main theme, and clients also get to go home with an online info booklet with recipes and other cool facts about seaweed!
