Whether you're an experienced diver or a curious snorkeler, exploring the kelp forest promises an unforgettable encounter with life beneath the ocean surface.

Your guide will share knowledge on the marine species your encounter and all about the abundance of edible seaweeds in the Great African Sea Forest

Option 1:         Dive, forage, picnic 
Enjoy a delicious wild greens-inspired picnic and warm botanical teas on the beach afterwards. 
Cost:                R 1,250pp / R950pp for groups over 4
Duration:          2 - 3 hours

  • All the dive gear you need to stay warm and have fun
  • Safe guidance in the ocean
  • Guided exploration of rock pools and kelp forests
  • Seaweed identification session
  • Post-experience wild food picnic and warming botanical teas
  • A take-home mini-guide to the most commonly seen flora and fauna, and inspiration on how to forage and feast on sea plants

OR

Option 2:          Dive, forage, cook, lunch
Head back after your dive to our clay home bordering the Cape point Nature reserve. Participate in cooking session and enjoy a feast prepared with your foraged ingredients.
Cost:                R 2, 500 per person
Duration:          5 hours

      Boat-based snorkelling or freediving in partnership with local boat operator. Experience required.
      Cost:                R 3, 500 pp -  with a wild foods picnic
      Duration:         4 hours

      • Boat trip to the best dive sites on the day
      • Safe guidance in the ocean
      • All of the dive gear needed to keep you warm
      • Wild food snacks and warming botanical teas
      • A take-home mini-guide to the most commonly seen flora and fauna

      Option 4:          Boat trip, Dive, Cook, Lunch
      Boat trip, snorkel forage, cooking guidance and full lunch
