Join us for 2 days of adventures in nature designed to help you slow down, reconnect and celebrate the extraordinary natural beauty of the Cape Peninsula.

The Cape Point Mountain Getaway is situated on one of the most historic sites in Castle Rock Conservancy. It sits on the slopes of the Table Mountain Chain and stares out across False Bay; is less than an hour from Cape Town city centre and a 5-minute drive from the Cape Point Nature Reserve entrance gate.

This incredible venue has four completely separate eco-homes. All have commanding sea and mountain views that are totally off the grid and are environmentally friendly. The property sits on the edge of the Great African Kelp Forest — a remarkable underwater wilderness loved by local divers.

Ocean Immersion

Whether you're an experienced diver or a curious snorkeler, exploring the kelp forest promises an unforgettable encounter with life beneath the ocean surface. An experienced guide will safely guide you on an exploration of nearby magnificent dive sites, sharing knowledge on the marine species and the abundance of edible seaweeds in the Great African Sea Forest.

Explore the Shore 

Indigenous plants, seaweed and molluscs thrive in abundance along the Cape Town Southern Peninsula shores. Join Lindy Taverner from RE Wild Food for a coastal foraging experience that combines adventure, learning and wild food. 

Enjoy a delicious coastal-inspired meal while gaining insight into local biodiversity and the ancient traditions of human coastal gathering.

Trail walks

Set against the slopes of Table Mountain, the Getaway offers access to a network of private trails that weave through rugged rock faces, flowering fynbos, and restored Afro-montane forests. 

Mindfulness in Nature

Throughout the weekend, there are opportunities to explore mindfulness and nature-based practices that encourage a deeper sense of well-being and connection to the environment. Leave feeling not only restored, but inspired — with a renewed appreciation for the natural world and a greater awareness of how to live within it.
