Your facilitator, Rene Lambert, is a certified Hatha Yoga teacher, Remedial Yoga Therapist and Ayurveda Practitioner(Dip). She studied at Ananda Kutir Ashram and has 23 years’ experience in teaching Integral Hatha Yoga. Her multifaceted career has endowed her with insightful knowledge of the intrinsic mind-body relationship.

Rene is also certified in Massage, Reflexology, Aromatherapy and Watsu. Over the past 30 years, she has seamlessly integrated all her professional training into her bodyworks practice.

When there is space in the body there is no discomfort. In order to create space, Rene uses hot oil, towels and hot water bottles to soften and relax the body while undoing the muscle fibres in order to bring comfort.

She works at the depth the muscles are able to receive. Often the emotional and mental pain the body is carrying needs gentle releasing strokes as opposed to working deeper into tightly bound facia and muscle.   www.seedtoflower.co.za

In this workshop, Rene will teach you about the basic principles of Ayurvedic nutrition and how it can support self-healing and optimal well-being. She will cover the basic foundations of Ayurveda: 5 Elements. 3 Doshas, 6 Tastes
